Winter… Evening….. The snow is falling…
I believe that almost all people all over the world from year to year looking forward for winter holidays.
Christmas and New Year are the most important and popular holidays for millions of people. In the USA and Europe Christmas is the most religious holiday, for Russia the New Year is the most welcome rest holiday. People prepare for these holidays long before. Some of them buy the best food for the traditional dinner with the family, some of them look for the best presents. Children help to decorate the Christmas tree with toys, lights and tinsels. No matter who puts the present –Santa Claus or Father Frost, no matter where is the present — in stocking near the fireplace or under the Christmas tree, children always wait for this holiday impatiently.
I’m sure Christmas brings the same happy feelings wherever it is celebrated. I hope it continues to keep its message of love and peace.
And I’d like to say that maybe we, grown-ups, should become children at least for this time. Nowadays we all live under the great press of modern life, we work a lot, we always in a hurry, we try to do an incredible number of things and due to this we do not have enough time to spend with our family, with our parents, children and friends. I hope that such holidays help us to stop and look around, to believe in miracle, to pay more attention to our most special people. We extremely need Christmas and New Year to unite our families and what’s more important to keep traditions.
I hope that everyone will have time and possibility to move aside all dealings, forget about problems and just relax and have fun. I wish all of you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Try to celebrate them in such exciting and cheerful manner so that you will keep energy boost for the coming year!
